Anniversary Exhibition – Gina Parr and Peter Myers 17 September 2016 – 9 October (Private View: 18 September 2016)
Open daily 10.00 – 17.00
Hart & Hamm Gallery are celebrating their 1st year anniversary during the Maldon Art Trail with an exhibition of artwork that focuses on the ebb and flow of estuary life.
Gina Parr will be exhibiting a collection of her thought provoking works that depict the river meeting the sea. Her monochrome oil and acrylics map the fine line between abstraction and scenic recognition.
Angelique Hartigan, resident artist at HART & HAMM has been observing the local estuary life for 18 months since her arrival in Maldon and will be showing a new collection of local scenes in her now familiar unique and contemporary style.
Peter Myers, sculptor creates iconic pieces from local slate and glass collected from greenhouses and barns in transitional change. His layered works must be seen with a backdrop of light creating movement and colours similar to the light sparkling on the incoming tide.
Visit us between dates 17 September 2016 to 9 October to see and experience this celebration of all that is unique and wonderful about living in an Estuary Town.
