Prints are unframed and made to order on archival matte paper which is digitally printed.

Yes we do Framing!
Our bespoke framing is a snow white mount of 10cm in with a solid wood moulding: We have a choice of dove white or raven black painted box frame. It takes about 4 weeks for the print and frame to be organised. Glass is Plexiglas for posting. If you would prefer to collect from the studio we can also organise museum quality or non-reflective glass. Locally delivery can be arranged.

“Towards the Old Workhouse, Market Hill, Maldon” shows the steep Market Hill towards Fullbridge. One the way down is the Old Workhouse an 18th Century timber framed building which served the poor of Maldon and the surrounding area. I can only imagine the many stories this building has experienced. The workhouse was a source of much fear by those who were poor as once inside conditions were harsh and families separated. Now it is divided into several townhouses and apartments.
This is part of my growing catalogue of original paintings depicting Maldon and forms part of my first exhibition of ten new original paintings. It is my first response of my experience exploring the locale over the last few years. Maldon is a such lovely town with many places of interest making it a really lovely day out from the history of the ancient buildings to beauty of the countryside.
