“Crystal Palace Dinosaurs – Victorian Sculptures, London Park Scene”
the Victorian dinosaur sculptures on dinosaur island in Crystal Palace Park. It’s certainly a unique view and they have an interesting history being first sculptures to be created of extinct animals in 1854 to accompany the Great Exhibition when it moved to the top of Sydenham Hill in 1851 and set on an island in one of the man made lakes.
