“To The Sea Massa Lubrense Italy”
This signed and numbered open edition small collectors print of an original painting shows a woman walking down to the little harbour in the Massa Lubrense in Naples, Italy. She is followed with some effort by a big sleepy dog who often slept near here – perhaps her passing by meant something to him – breakfast or lunch? We would often sit outside Angelo’s on Via Cristoforo Columbo enjoying a campari whilst we watched the world go by on our visit here. Via Fontanella rises very sharply with a wall of gorgeous magenta bougainvillea and fabulous palm tree. In the backgroud two people are working on their little boat.
