“A Windy Day in Manchester”
the grand Manchester Town Hall on a windy, sunny day in Autumn. The colours of the pennine sandstones of the stonework are particularly autumnal. Designed by Alfred Waterhouse and completed in 1877 this Grade I Gothic Revival building is very impressive, standing towards the back of Albert Square and lined with trees.
