Here on the East Coast of England walks with my four-legged friend Jasper Spaniel have introduced me to lovely lakes, winding waterways, ebbing and flowing estuaries, wild and windy nature reserves with richly coloured salt marshes and dense woodlands framed by open skies. I am in my element absorbed in this beautiful, peaceful landscape which is a huge influence on my current practice with its watery reflections simple abstractions and sense of freedom.
