Art of Maldon Essex is a growing catalogue of unique and vibrant images by local artist Angelique Hartigan. Angelique moved to the picturesque town in 2015 and has been exploring both the urban and rural landscapes on her walks with Jasper Spaniel (Studio assistant) and now new puppy Grayson (studio intern).

About Maldon

MALDON is famous for the Hythe, which is the home to many of the remaining Thames barges, and the area offers visitors a wide range of places to visit and activities to enjoy.

Promenade Park, originally created on the sloping bank of the River Blackwater over one hundred years ago is popular with visitors and residents alike.

Up in the town there is a wide range of shops and cafes from Mrs Salisbury’s Famous Tea Shop in Brights Path to our own chocolatier at Maldon Chocolates in Wenlock way. Pop to the Maldon Tourist Information Centre to find out what events are taking place – it is a vibrant town with lots to discover.
