Signed, Limited Edition Giclee print (100) “Down the Hill and off we go Market Hill Maldon”shows that moment where the local Maldon District Cycle Club is off on a sunny day’s ride out.  They are about to descend the steepest hill here in Maldon lined with beautiful old houses and The Limes Guest House trees towards the distant view.  You can often see the club riders out and about and it was lovely to see them cycling past as I left my exhibition Private View where this painting is showing.

This is part of my growing catalogue of original paintings depicting my new(ish) home and forms part of my first exhibition of ten new original paintings.  It is my first response of my experience exploring the locale over the last few years.   Maldon is a such lovely town with many places of interest making it a really lovely day out from the history of the ancient buildings to beauty of the countryside.
