House and Garden Commission
A lovely vibrant garden packed with many different plants and trees by these keen gardeners. The house is a Victorian Villa which formed part of a larger estate when it was built and is all that remains of the grand site. I have lifted the view from the bottom of the garden as though from birds eye view so I could incorporate all the important areas. Size 121cm x 91cm x 3.5cm

Based on an earlier commission this painting marks an important birthday. Depicting the house and mans’ best friend waiting for him to return from work. Size 61cm x 46cm.

Commission – Wedding Day Paintings – A Country Wedding
Wedding Day paintings are a lovely way to celebrate this special time. They can be wonderful gifts to the bride and groom from the family or group of friends.
I was recently commissioned to paint a wedding which took place in a lovely English Country Church to be presented to the couple as a birthday gift to the groom the following year for his 50th. This is a very English Country Wedding taking place n a picturesque little church surrounded by wheat fields and bathed in sunshine. This cheerful sunny image was achieved through careful consultation with the client over the phone and by email. I used a montage of images from the photographer on the day as my basis for the image then constructed a mixed media work.
This work is 61cm x 41cm.
We made sure that all the main characters were depicted especially the two children.

Commission – Wedding Gift for Groom
A unique and thoughtful gift from the bride to the groom. Measuring 76cm x 61cm.
Thank you SO much for the wonderful painting you made for my new husband (!) and I. You’ve captured us, my lovely dog and autumn in crystal palace park just to perfection. We were both moved to tears by the painting (as were my friends and family who were there when I surprised my new husband with it on our wedding day!). Thank you so so much, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It will sit pride of place in our home and will always be a reminder of our amazing wedding day. Commission – Red October – Portrait of a family home
This is a very special painting for the owner and is a portrait of a much loved family home which looks stunning in the October morning sunshine and is present from the owner to herself. This really did paint itself and I was thinking of her kind and vibrant personality as I worked.

Commission – House in Rural France
One of the contacts I’d made at the Urban Art Fair in July contacted me regarding a commission for her parents of their house in rural France. It would be Christmas present from the three children to their parents. I was given a set of photographs and had a chat about ideas and decided to enhance the olive tree against the dark wall of a neighbouring building and the light running up to the house.
When they came to pick it up I’d packed it to go to France and then discovered that they live in Bermuda, so am delighted to know that on Christmas day a painting of mine was being unwrapped so far away.

Commission – House on the Green
A much loved family home. I was thrilled to be painting this for a colleague I used to work with in the City. This is a Christmas present for his wife depicting their house which has been through quite a transformation and recently finished. To celebrate this and Christmas he commissioned this work.
On visiting the site I thought it would be lovely to have the house in context as it can be seen nestling in between other buildings and an old red brick hospital across a green. As I contemplated the scene a few people walked past which gave the building some scale and movement, so I also persuaded him to have a human element in the shape of his family walking up the hill home to their beautiful home. Commission – New York Apartment
This is a commission for a surprise Christmas present for a loved one of Spring in New York. With a florist on the side walk bursting with colour and New York taxi on it’s way past the apartment block in which they used to live. This is the second commission for my client who was delighted with the result.

Commission – A Family Walk in Crystal Palace Park
My work can sell within hours of it showing in some situations and this was one. I had just put out “Spring in the Park”, when it sold to a couple in East Dulwich. About an hour later I had a visit from a client’s friend who immediately wanted this piece. As it had been sold I offered her a commission and we quickly thought it would be lovely to add her family to the scene – including the family cat. My composition is part memory, imagined and based on photography of the family and park.
